Par 4 - 319 yards
Well, you've just refueled at the snack bar and have the momentum from the birdie at #9.
That almost makes up for the double bogey on #6. It is time to start the back nine. Some
players will choose a driver here and try to get the ball as close to the green as possible.
Actually, you are better off with a fairway metal or mid-iron and leave yourself about 100
yards left to the pin. With trees and OB right and hazard and homes to the left, it is just
not worth the risk of an errant drive. With a well placed tee shot, this becomes a birdie
hole. The green is fairly level and the breaks are predictable. Starting the back nine
on a good note is important because danger awaits ahead.
